Nexmif encephalopathy is a rare disease. We don’t know precisely how common it really is.
Having only been known as a condition since 2013, it is estimated to occur in less than one every 100,000 children. Thanks to new techniques such as the exome sequencing, this diagnosis will probably become more common. Then its true incidence will finally be clear.
